I believe our surroundings are far more than backdrops to our daily lives. They are sacred spaces that shape our experiences, elevate our moods, and nurture our potential. Whether it’s the comfort of a living room that invites relaxation, a meeting room that sparks innovation, or a dining room that exudes casual elegance and hosts connection, every space serves a deeper purpose. Art, as a transformative tool, has the power to define these spaces, influencing not just their aesthetic but their very essence. It has the remarkable ability to set the mood, focus the intention, and create an atmosphere that aligns with our needs and desires.
My journey with art began in the presence of my grandfather, whose realistic watercolour paintings left a lasting impression on me. As a child, I would study his work in awe, mesmerised by the intricacy of each brushstroke and the detail he captured. In my early years as an artist, I felt compelled to replicate his style but struggled to achieve the same precision. This led me to question my artistic path, believing that my talent did not come naturally. It wasn’t until I expanded my studies and discovered the vast world of abstract art that I realised my creative voice. What captivated me wasn’t just the visual appeal of abstract art but also the emotions it evoked.
Today, my work is driven by a commitment to infuse each piece with feeling—an invitation to experience not just what the eye sees, but what the heart senses. Texture is at the heart of my practice, adding depth and richness to my compositions, while a careful play of tones provides balance and harmony. I strive to create art that resonates on a visceral level and enhances the spaces it inhabits.
I don’t believe art is a reflection of the world—instead reflects the soul, and it is my mission to bring the soul to life through every piece I create.
